The First Day of the Rebirth: Climate Crisis and Migration Project Successfully Completed

The first day of the “Rebirth: Climate Crisis and Migration” project began with a series of activities designed to help participants get to know each other, adapt to the project environment, and gain a better understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The day started with an informative session introducing the Erasmus+ Programme. Youth workers received comprehensive information about the opportunities offered by the programme in the fields of education, youth, and sports, as well as international mobility opportunities and project development processes. In addition, the Youthpass certification system was presented, highlighting how competences and skills gained through youth work activities can be documented and recognized for personal and professional development.

Following this session, an environmental compliance and orientation activity was organized to encourage interaction among participants from different countries. Through team-based and interactive tasks, youth workers had the opportunity to get to know one another better while building the foundations for effective international cooperation throughout the project. The activity focused on strengthening communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

At the end of the day, participants took part in an evaluation session where they shared their opinions and feedback about the activities through an online questionnaire. This provided the project team with valuable insights that will help improve the quality and effectiveness of future activities.

The final event of the day was the intercultural evening. Participants introduced their countries’ traditions, local foods, dances, music, languages, and cultural values. This activity promoted intercultural learning while fostering mutual understanding, respect, and solidarity among youth workers from diverse backgrounds.

The first day of the project successfully achieved its objectives of introducing Erasmus+ opportunities, strengthening intercultural dialogue, promoting team spirit, and preparing participants for active engagement throughout the mobility experience.
