Digital Rights in Focus: Building a Safer Online Future for Young People

We are delighted to share that our project Digital Rights for Future Minds has been officially approved! With a focus on digital identity, online privacy, data protection, and the right to be forgotten, the project will equip youth workers and young people with the knowledge and skills needed to better understand their rights in the digital environment. Through interactive workshops, real-life case studies, group discussions, and non-formal education, participants will examine common digital challenges and explore practical ways to encourage responsible online behaviour, strengthen media literacy, and promote digital citizenship.
The project will bring together youth workers from Spain, France, Austria, Estonia, and Türkiye, creating opportunities for international collaboration, intercultural learning, and the exchange of effective approaches to digital rights education. Participants will develop their ability to create engaging learning experiences through digital storytelling, scenario-based activities, and digital identity design. They will also be encouraged to share their learning with their organisations and local communities, helping young people understand their digital footprints, safeguard personal information, and use online platforms more safely and confidently. Through these efforts, Digital Rights for Future Minds aims to contribute to a more inclusive, ethical, and responsible digital culture throughout Europe.
