The Erasmus+ programme of the European Union continues to support international cooperation and personal development in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport during the 2021–2027 period. The programme aims to equip young people and participants of all ages with the knowledge, skills, and qualifications necessary for meaningful participation in democratic society, stronger intercultural understanding, and a successful transition to the labour market. By promoting high-quality and inclusive education, as well as informal and non-formal learning opportunities, Erasmus+ plays a key role in supporting lifelong learning and professional growth across Europe.

Building on the success of the 2014–2020 programme period, Erasmus+ continues to expand its opportunities to reach more participants and a broader range of organisations. The 2026 programme reinforces the initiative’s commitment to increasing the quality and impact of projects while contributing to more inclusive and cohesive societies that are greener and better prepared for the digital age.
