"Humanity is no Borders"

In October 2024, our organization had the privilege of participating in "Humanity is no Borders" project in Turkey that addressed a critical issue: the unique challenges faced by refugee women. Over six days, alongside participants from five other countries, we explored how gender inequality intersects with displacement, creating profound vulnerabilities for women refugees.

This experience was eye-opening, transformative, and inspiring.

Refugee women often bear the brunt of displacement. Beyond losing their homes, they face heightened risks of violence, limited access to resources, and systemic discrimination. This project created a space to learn about these realities and challenged us to think critically about our responsibilities as advocates for change.

We thank the partners and participants for creating a platform where important discussions could happen. This experience reminded us that change begins when we listen, learn, and act together.

Moving forward, we aim to apply the lessons learned, ensuring that refugee women’s voices are not only heard but valued. Together, we can create a world that upholds dignity, equality, and hope for all.
