With the hostinf of our organization, Artemis Women's Power MTÜ, our youth exchange project named "He for She" with the reference number 2023-1-EE01-KA152-YOU-000113609 was carried out in Saaremaa,Estonia. This project, which was conducted between 09.12.2023 and 16.12.2023, brought together Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and Hungary in a shared commitment to fostering gender equality and building a more just and honest society.
The primary objective of "He for She" was to shine a spotlight on the importance of gender equality. The project aimed to educate and inform participants about the existing disparities and challenges faced by individuals due to their gender. The initiative aspired to contribute to the creation of an egalitarian society, free from gender-based discrimination. By addressing societal norms and expectations, the project sought to lay the foundation for a more honest and just community.
Focused on the youth demographic, the project aimed to instill a deep understanding of gender equality and challenge traditional social roles. By engaging young minds, "He for She" aspired to foster a generation that champions equality and inclusivity. To address ingrained gender roles and responsibilities, the project conducted in-depth studies. The goal was to identify and dismantle stereotypes, thereby raising broader awareness within society.
Youth participants were empowered to become advocates for gender equality in their respective communities. Training sessions equipped them with the skills and knowledge needed to drive change and promote inclusivity. Cultural exchanges among partner countries allowed participants to explore and appreciate diverse perspectives on gender roles and equality. These events aimed to broaden horizons and break down cultural barriers.
Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, "He for She" serves as a catalyst for a future where every individual, regardless of gender, is afforded equal opportunities and respect. To see more about our project:
